Located in Seattle, Washington, QuEST seeks to build a peaceful, just, sustainable world by empowering young adults to act as agents of social change and social service during a year of service and throughout their lives.

Founded in 1992, Quaker Experiential Service & Training (QuEST) is a service fellowship program for young adults sponsored by University Friends Meeting and South Seattle Friends Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).

QuEST provides young adults of all backgrounds with:

  • meaningful work and professional experience through full-time positions with local nonprofits
  • an intentional, residential community in a shared house with other participants
  • opportunities for training, mentorship, and reflection

During their year of service, QuEST Fellows gain experience for careers in social service and justice fields, practice community and simplicity, work for social change, explore spirituality, and build life-long friendships.
